Problems in our life are referred to as storms and we will all encounter it sooner or later but we do not have to be defeated by any of it. We have an anchor who has overcome the world for us and His name is Jesus. He is in our storms, He is master over our storms and He will bring us through the storms.
Jesus said in John 16:33 these things I have spoken to you that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. You might say, well He has not overcame my problem. Well, have you given your problem to Him? Have you given it to Him and took it back? Have you become inpatient? All of these things factor into our result. He did not say when He would manifest deliverance from the storm; we would just need to keep the faith and wait it out. There is an end to everything because nothing stays the same forever.
Jesus said that He will never leave us nor forsake us so we should know that we are not going through the storm alone, He is with us. The only way for us to not be successful is to not trust Him.
When the storms of life are raging what should we do besides putting our faith in the Lord? We should remember who we are in Him. We are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus. We have been made the righteousness of God by Christ Jesus. We are kings and priests unto the Lord and we are a seed of Abraham and heir to the promise. Once we start meditating on scriptures, our faith will rise in spite of what we might be going through. We would become settle in the truth that all things work together for our good according to His purpose because He loves us.
The bible said that the just shall live by faith and not by sight. So what we are seeing is not the real deal, it is only a mirage appearing to be real. We are more than a conqueror because Jesus has defeated the devil and He has given us the victory. Therefore, that light affliction will past and we will come through victoriously.
If we are obedient to the word of God; He will make our enemy our footstool. The devil maybe raging for a season in our life but we have authority over him and his devices so we should use our God given right to quench every fiery dart that he throws at us.
God will always perfect that which concerns us and we will never be left defenseless because Jesus said that He is with us even until the end of the world. He is able to bring us through whatever we might face. We should just stand still and see the salvation of our Lord's hand at work for us
